MinneSNOWta
Oh the weather outside is..well it isn't frightful to me at least. Every time it snows, a serene wave comes through the town and creates a unified silence. Everything is still and calm. Well everything except Maggie who couldn't handle the other dogs at the dog park today. I waited until the snow halted for a bit and ventured outside to take some photos. I wish I could clear the roads up to Duluth and take my board out for awhile.

These are a few of my favorite things...
My dad. He grabbed his hat that he bought in Montana over the summer and pretended to be a Rabbi from Montana. Hilarity ensues.

20 Days.
20 days. That's all I have left before I leave for 7 months. Discussions of volunteer programs and photo story possibilities are filling my house, and leaving me with happy thoughts. So, I guess the countdown has begun. Here's a photo I found after coming across a section of photos from the orphanage that somehow got placed in the wrong folder.

In Dedication to Alex Browning and Taylor Glascock.
For my birthday, Alex and Taylor got me a gnome to bring on my travels. They said they would know I was thinking about them when I posted a photo of the gnome. So, here it is...my first gnome photo. We randomly got a globe in my house while I was at school and thought it was the perfect introduction. His name is Cedric. His passport defines him as A woodland creature who willingly leaves his or her forest or garden to travel around the world. I would love to do a gnome of the day post as I travel over the next 8 months. So, meet Cedric, my new travel companion!

A Heritage Illuminated
A Heritage Illuminated from Eve Edelheit on Vimeo.
This is my final project for Adv. Techniques. My group members were Mallory Benedict, Rob Bratney and Alex Browning. The Daniel Boone Home and Village brings visitors back to the Christmas season of 1821 with their candlelight tours every December.

A little info.
- Eve Edelheit
- I am recent graduate of the University of Missouri, majoring in photojournalism. Right now, I am a photo intern at The Dallas Morning News. Last year, I attended the Danish School of Media and Journalism in the International Photojournalism program. I love the journey of working on a photo story, the destination is never what was predicted.
