This semester, the theme for the photo column, Boone Life is environment. For my story, I chose to make the idea environment the stereotype that LaNee Bridewell faces as a young, black single mother. Working with LaNee was a truly rewarding experience as a photojournalist. I am excited to continue my work on this story as she graduates this month from the University of Missouri and continues onto graduate school.
